Bella Vista Water District is currently recruiting for a
Water Treatment Operator Grade T3 or T2 Depending on Qualifications
Water Treatment Operator Grade T3 –
The Water Treatment Operator Grade T3 is an in-person, secondary supervisory position within our Treatment Department. The ideal candidate will hold a current California State Department of Health Water Treatment Operator Certification (Grade T3), possess a valid Class C driver’s license with a good driving record, demonstrate strong technical competence, and obtain a HAZWOPER certification within one (1) year of hire.
This position requires participation in a regular after-hours on-call rotation as part of supporting ongoing operations.
This role involves hands-on knowledge of the installation and maintenance of pumps, controls, screens, valves, chemical feed equipment, and filters, along with a solid understanding of the rules and regulations governing public health and water treatment.
The position offers a competitive wage range of $35.72 to $39.42 per hour. Paid vacation accrues at a rate equivalent to two weeks per year to start, in addition to the excellent benefits package outlined below.
Water Treatment Operator Grade T2 – The Water Treatment Operator Grade T2 is an in-person, secondary supervisory position within our Treatment Department. The ideal candidate will hold a current California State Department of Health Water Treatment Operator Certification (Grade T2), possess a valid Class C driver’s license with a good driving record, demonstrate strong technical competence, and obtain a HAZWOPER certification within one (1) year of hire.
This position requires participation in a regular after-hours on-call rotation as part of supporting ongoing operations.

The position offers a competitive wage range of $32.28 to $35.62 per hour. Paid vacation accrues at a rate equivalent to two weeks per year to start, in addition to the excellent benefits package outlined below.
